Leeds defender Tom Lees was today flying out to meet Stuart Pearce and the England Under-21 squad after been called up to represent his country for the first time.
Lees will be part of the squad who face Norway in Chesterfield on Monday night, but will miss the game against Azerbaijan due to FA clearance.
The Under-21 squad are currently two points clear of group 8. Lees call up has shown his rise in the game after coming from League Two to Championship within two seasons.
We wish Tom the best of luck should he feature on Monday, the experience from the international stage will do him the world of good.
