Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has applauded his team after the Whites picked up a win on the opening day of the season against Wolves at Elland Road.
A Luciano Becchio goal was enough to see the Whites win 1-0 against the recently relegated side after a resilient performance from the home side.
Eight of Warnock's new signing's made their league debut's on Saturday for the Whites and the boss was quick to praise the players after a brilliant win.
Speaking to the club's official site, Warnock said:
"It was a superb performance. We had a good crowd and a lot of new players.
"I had a few sleepless moments on Friday about whether to play Sam Byram from the start against an England winger, because I thought Jarvis would play, but I decided to go with it. I thought 'sod it he did well last week so why not?' Leesy has done well as well so it was a difficult one. But I thought everyone played well in general.
"I enjoy watching teams play well and love excitement, crosses, tackles, and headers...that's how my teams play and it's even better when you get the result. Wolves won't be too far away so it was a superb performance.
"Paddy didn't have a save to make as such apart from a couple of crosses, our two central defenders were terrific, and Norris and Austin were very good in the middle. All the way across I can't fault anyone. Then we get an injury to Paul Green and Dioufy comes on and does well. He held the ball up when we needed it and he did very well.
"I do think the Leeds fans will have loved it which is what I want to see."
