Leeds United manager Neil Warnock is hoping to add defender Martin Cranie to his squad, after the former Coventry City player impressed during his trial.
Cranie, who can play at centre-back or left-back has spent the past two weeks at the club after rejecting a new deal with the Sky Blues.
Warnock is hoping to sit down with the 25-year-old to talk about a possible deal. Warnock told the Yorkshire Evening Post:
"He's a steady player and what I'd call a squad player. Where it goes from here really depends on what Martin's looking for and what we can afford to offer him. He's calm, collected and a good lad who's fitted in well with the other players. We just need to chat things over and see what happens.
