Jason Pearce looks set to join Leeds United tomorrow...shock horror!
The move has been rumoured for weeks but at least it can now be settled and the fans can relish the thought of their new signing.
The News, Portsmouth's local paper announced the news at 5pm. The deal will be around 500,000 paid up front by Leeds to cash-strapped Pompey. From the comments on the article it seems he's Pompey's best player and the fans aren't best pleased he's going for such a small fee.
As well as the paper reporting the story, the Yorkshire Evening Post's Phil Hay tweeted:
