Poleon Back At Leeds

Poleon is back at Leeds United. - Paul Thomas

Dominic Poleon has been recalled from his loan spell at Bury less than 24 hours after it had been extended.

Yesterday Dom Poleon and Zac Thompson's loan spells with Kevin Blackwell and Bury were extended until January 3rd.

However, manager Neil Warnock has today had a change of heart and recalled Dom Poleon back to Leeds. Poleon has scored three times for Bury and the manager said:

"Ross isn't 100 per fit as yet and with Luke Varney missing out for the weekend we're a few bodies light," said the United boss.

Dominic has done well at Bury. He's played some matches, scored some goals, and he comes back to us match fit."

Zac Thompson remains at Bury until January 3rd and Neil Warnock will be hoping the return of Poleon can help to galvanise his struggling squad.
