Alex Livesey

How did you rate the players performances during Leeds United's 3-0 win over Premier League Southampton in the Capital One Cup?

Leeds United are in the Quarter Final of the League Cup for the first time since 1995/6 after beating Premier League Southampton 3-0 at Elland Road.

My ratings are provided below but how did you rate the players performances?

Jamie Ashdown - 6 - Barely had a touch of the ball

Sam Byram - 6 - Looked threatening going forward, not much to do defensively.

Tom Lees - 7 - Played well, took control and gave Southampton's lame attack little.

Jason Pearce - 7 - see Lees.

Lee Peltier - 7 - Did well, through ball led to opening goal.

Aidan White - 6 - Played well but added little to United's attack.

Michael Brown - 8 - Controlled the midfield, offered important interceptions and got stuck in. Classic Michael Brown.

Rodolph Austin - 7 - Put in a good shift and his bursting run provided United with their well deserved second.

Michael Tonge - 8 - Scored another good goal and won the penalty for United's third.

El-Hadji Diouf - 7 - Got the second goal to finally kill off the game.

Luke Varney - 6.5 - Missed a sitter and probably should have had a hat-trick and yet it was still his best performance in a Leeds United shirt.
